You need to use MCT oil with a lot of care. IT can lead to gastric issues, nausea and diarrhea. Since they produce ketone bodies when metabolized, they are dangerous to those who have diabetes. Liver disease prevents one from using them, as they go straight to the organ once consumed, which will stress it.
If you have hepatic encephalopathy, you should not take MCT oil. Those who use it for long can have their cholesterol levels going up.
